Toodle Soup
submitted by Karen

"Sally, here is one that we are eating for dinner tonight. I don't know why I didn't think of this first as a great y2k recipe? My husband grew up eatingthis and now so have our kids. I hope it is not too obvious to print."

2 cans of tomato soup
1 can water
1 can milk (made from powder)
1/8 - 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
pepper to taste
12 oz. package of curly noodles

Cook noodles in water as needed. Drain (you can use some of this water for what is called for in the recipe) add soup, water, milk and seasoning. Heat until warmed through. We enjoy this served with crackers and cheese or biscuits. A jar of Old English or squeezie cheese spread would go nicely with whatever bread product you have stored .

Sally's comments: I was home alone, working on the website and realized I was hungry, so I looked through the recipe collection for something that looked good. It was! I actually cheated and used ramen, cooked in the soup. I topped it with parmesan cheese and had a nice break between pages.
